Text to Particles Box

The Text to Particles Box comes in two varieties. Open the box you purchased and copy the contents to your inventory. One object called Dot Matrix writes horizontally anything you type on the specified chat channel at a predefined custom scale you chose (provided your message isn't too long for the scale used!!). The other object does much the same thing only it writes vertically from top to bottom). See pictures for examples. You can quickly have a message banner "up in lights" for all to see.

Both Dot Matrix text to particles objects are copy permitted so you can rez as many as you like when you like - and once set up you can take copies back to your inventory for later use.

Both are also very user tweakable - you can customise the particle pattern (e.g. drop, explode, etc), pattern paramaters (e.g. speed, acceleration, count, angle, etc) and particle parameters (e.g. the age of the particles, start and end colour, alpha and size, the rate particles are emitted, particle glow or particle wind on and off). You can chose from one of the included particle textures or even specify your own particle key or UUID.

This is a great tool for making signs or similar banners - like Happy Birthday - or whatever. Anything you can type on a US keyboard, including !@#$%^&*(_+{}[] - etc. will be displayed as particles in a dot matrix style ready for your custom tweaking.

Great for attention grabbing or just having fun with friends.

I hope to release a demo version soon so keep an eye out for that if you are not sure what you get for your money. This product will also be included in my soon to be released particle hud, which includes a system to enable creation of particle planes and lathes that create patterns based on pictures you drawn on a grid hud... keep an eye out for it's release soon.
