Texture animation cannot be done via manual object editing and must be scripted. LSL texture animation methods include a number of non-intuitive arguments, which are interpreted differently depending on values of other arguments.

Because of this, texture animation is difficult for novices. Experienced builders have another problem: sometimes texture animation requires fine-tuning until it looks just right. This is done by trial and error but each change requires modifying LSL methods arguments and then recompiling scripts, which takes much time.

Our Texture Animator (TA) eliminates above hardships by supporting texture animation via on-touch menu system. It allows instant modification of any and all texture animation parameters on-the-fly, without scripts recompilation. Texture animation can be applied either to a single prim or any number of prims in the same object.

The TA supports "verbose" mode, which displays commands sent to server so a novice can experiment with texture animation parameters and see how it translates into actual LSL calls arguments.

An experienced builder can quickly fine-tune animations and then either delete the TA script from the finished product or keep it there as an added product value letting customers modify texture animations to their own tastes.

The TA can be used either alone or in combination with our Texture/Color Control API (Rev 1.5 or higher required)

This version is transferable and comes with unrestricted license. It is intended for professional builders/makers. If want it just for your own use, buy a less expensive Home Edition instead. There is no difference, except for permissions. See it in related products.
