Make the view from your skybox or land more interesting with this texture changing globe!
It comes in 10 sizes, to fit your parcel as perfectly as possible:
32m, 40m, 50m, 60m, 70m, 80m, 90m, 100m, 125m and 150m.
The 32m size will fit perfectly inside a 1024m parcel.
The 60m size will fit perfectly inside a 4096m parcel.
The 125m size will fit perfectly inside a 1/4 sim parcel (16384m).
The globe gives you 60 textures for the sky to choose from, spread over 5 categories:
Clear, Cloudy, Overcast, Sunsets and Dark.
The base gives you 72 textures to choose from, spread over 9 categories:
Grass, Leaves, Paved, Cobbled, Metal, Sandy, Rocky, Snow and Wooden.
The base also comes in two versions - sculpted or flat.
Use the switch prim to change the textures – it brings down a blue menu which presents all the options to you, including whether to turn on privacy (the outside of the globe will change to an opaque field of stars). (Menu does not change base version.)
The switch comes in two versions – rez in-world or wear on your HUD. It is Copy and Mod (apart from scripts – no Mod) so that you can change the appearance to blend in with your home or garden.
Use the globe together with the base, or just the globe, or just the base – the same switch will operate them all. You can also have as many globes on your sim as you like – a switch will only operate the globe or base closest to it.
4 prims maximum - the switch is 1 prim, the flat version 3 prims max and the sculpted version 4 prims max.

I absolutely love this, it's exactly what I was looking for!!!
Reasons I love:
1) you can attach both pieces together and not get a "these objects are too far away from each other to link" message.
2) The fact that the texture change is NOT where you click the dome or the base and a menu auto pops up, it actually has a switch that activates a menu for whichever prim it's closest to
3) omg the textures!! yes!!
4) different sizes?? also sizes ABOVE 64M?! A++ absolutely amazing
5) Flat AND sculpt bases included and everything is labeled by size. this makes me SO HAPPY I could cry because of purchases in the past where nothing was labeled specifically. [[ oh, this texture is purple? let's name it "Texture 245AC2Wal" that has nothing to do with purple. ]]

Excellent sky sphere for anything you need. High quaility wellworth the price on sale or not.
Finally found what I was looking for
Well made and comes in all the sizes you will need, it comes with both flat and sculpted base so if you don't like the loss of space from the sculpt just use the flat, it has tons of views, texture and privacy options, and if thats not enough you can purchase more at the shop for a decent price. and the views are not blurry as I have found in most other globes. very well done. super easy to use and set up. And best of all you can count on the seller/maker to help if needed. So for a lower price than most of the globes of this quality you get a lot including awesome customer service.

Much better views than the cheap stuff, and lots of choices. The globe does narrow where it touches the base and that would be my only (very minor) issue. The 60m size can be easily stretched to 64m x 64m (the item says no mod but that's just the script) which is just right for a square 4096 parcel. Worth the extra lindens. :)
It's...okay?
It's a ball on a sculpted platform...the textures in it are okay, but not great. I'd say not worth it.
The globe is narrowed a bit where the platform meets it, cutting your usable space. The sculpted base also takes up some of that space, which is understandable, but the actual usable area is really small inside.
Very beautiful views
Very beautiful views, and it is modify so you can adapt the size to how big you want (up to 64m LL limits!). Very good choice of textures, you will be there for ages just clicking and clicking to see them all, but there is an included help sheet. Very good value for money - it seems that some people like to charge more for less, but this is not the case here!
