Thank you for viewing this Avatar Per Parcel Limiter.

If you have also rented land in any region, you may be limited to the maximum number of avatars on your land.
At Victoria Chung, for example, you may have a maximum of 2 avatars per 1000sqm on your land.

Well, it's not like the Chungs are constantly monitoring their Sims to make sure no one breaks this rule, quite the opposite.
But if someone complains because you are running a club on this piece of land and the party gets out of hand, then this can - rightly from the point of view of the sim owner - become very unpleasant.
An unnecessary dispute could be the result and you yourself are the cause of this problem.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to limit avatars on a PARCEL. This is only possible at sim level. Consequently, the maximum number of sims could quickly be reached without this being your intention. Other inhabitants of this sim will then no longer be able to access their plots and trouble is inevitable.

This is where the Avatar Per Parcel Limiter comes in. You tell it the maximum number of avatars in the config, give it the UUIDs of the avatars that must be in the whitelist and it can get started.

###############
► How does it function?
###############

The Avatar Per Parcel Limiter checks the number of avatars on the parcel every 5 seconds. As soon as the maximum number is reached, all subsequent avatars will be informed by a message specified by you that the parcel is full and they will be asked to leave the parcel again, otherwise they will be teleported home within 15 seconds (NOT banned!).

If you add a SURL to the freely definable message, you can also offer guests an alternative to teleporting away..

############################
► Setting up the The Avatar Per Parcel Limiter
############################

To set it, drag The Avatar Per Parcel Limiter onto the land, right-click on it and select “Edit” in the cookie that appears.
Then go to Content in the window that appears and click on the notecard named “config”.

You will find the following lines, which are quickly explained here:

--------------

Limit=40
Message=The maximum number of visitors has been reached. I am sorry, but I have to ask you to leave the plot within 15 seconds, or you will TP'd home. Teleport here as alternative: secondlife://Bonita%20Beach/4/27/22
Whitelist=SaskiaWood Resident

--------------

* Limit *
specifies the maximum number of avatars allowed on your plot. The default setting here is 10.
Make sure to set the number and only the number immediately after the equal sign.

* Message *
is the message that is displayed to those avatars who have come after the maximum number. It is nice to be able to insert a surl here, which can be clicked quickly by the guests so that they do not have to look for a new destination in 15 seconds and are ejected in the meantime.

* Whitelist *
contains the names of those who are always allowed to stay on the plot and are not ejected.

After you have edited the config and saved it, close the editing window. The config is read in on its own and the The Avatar Per Parcel Limiter starts working.

#####################################
► What's NOT possible with the The Avatar Per Parcel Limiter?
#####################################

- Using as HUD -

You cannot wear it as a HUD. It is designed to monitor the maximum number of avatars allowed on your own land, not to cause trouble on other plots.
Even if you can't eject avatars on other people's plots, they will still get the message, which could not only lead you astray, but also cause a lot of trouble and a sim ban!

Consequently, scripts will be disabled the moment you create this tool as a HUD or otherwise add it to your body, because I don't build my tools that anybody tries to bother someone.

- Eject Residents because of high complexity or missing payment infos -

This tool also does not remove any avatars from the plot that are too complex, have not yet reached a certain age or have not entered any payment information, for example. The latter two can be set directly in the plot properties. If the complexity is too high, I will use another tool at some point.

################
► Why is this tool for free?
################

Well, apart from a number of residents who are always on the take and want everything for free anyway (even though they have enough money), I firmly believe that there are people who appreciate a job well done and are also prepared to reward this work according to their own financial means.
If you find this tool useful, well, then I would be happy about a donation. You are supporting my work and my enjoyment of work.

Happy party'ing
