The Bug Listening Device
Listen to the conversation from anywhere in SL. This overt listening device will relay any conversation it hears to the owner anywhere in SL. But to prevent annoying double messages it will disable itself if the owner is within range of the device (20m, 60s scans). Also, to avoid flooding your email with messages, it will disable itself if the owner is offline. At about 1m in total length (tip of the antenna to end of the wings) this is not designed to be a covert listening device.

Build A Better Mousetrap
Great product, although I do wish the size could be modified. The creator could add a resizer script if they really don't want to add mod perms to the object. There's a good reason for this that doesn't include nefarious intentions-- I use these in my club (Scarlet Whispers: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Full moon/9/117/4039) so that I don't miss any requests from my patrons while DJing or any comments from my staff. The club is very large, and sometimes patrons/staff don't realize they're out of chat range when they say something in local. This way, I always catch it. :)
