The Chaville looks beautiful in any lighting, but most think it looks best at night when its Argyle lighting systems can be seen to full advantage. All lighting fixtures are controlled by wall switches. Two of the fixtures are chandeliers. Enjoy the warming glow of the three fireplaces and the charm of the interior lighting.
Upon entering through the handsome entrance one is greeted by a handsome shiny tile floor. The living room is to the right. The small dining room and kitchen is to the left, along with a beautiful staircase. You might notice that the floor and crown moldings are actually there, and not just textures with those moldings flat as a pancake.
At the top of the stairway, the bedroom is to the right, an open area is to the left. This area has a fireplace. You might decide to place a few chairs or a sofa here. Or perhaps a table and chairs for cards and games.
The middle of the second floor is open, surrounded by railings. On each side in the middle are French doors that lead to decks with views on three side.
Despite it's size, this home was designed for a couple. It only has one bedroom. The en-suite bathroom is actually en-suite. The sink, bathtub and shower are in plain view. The toilet and bidet are behind a small panel.
The kitchen is full size and modern. There is a large half bathroom off the kitchen.
Please note that the Chaville is sold unfurnished. Any furniture show in photos is for scale.
What is included, however, are the framed prints on the walls, the complete modern kitchen, all of the outdoor landscaping (including the small fountain), and all of the lighting fixtures indoors and out.
The Argyle lighting system includes three button wall switch controls with three buttons for high, medium, and low illumination. You may notice a color besides white on the buttons. Whatever color you choose for the face of that button is the color of the light, which you may change using the SL edit face function.
Do you like to change your décor once in a while? The Chaville has a very unique feature. All of the rooms except the half bath and the kitchen offer menu driven texture changes. Touch the master wall (you can tell by the little hand) a blue menu pops up with twelve included wallpaper choices. In chat, the texture changer will tell you which texture is on the wall and offer you eleven more choices. Simply make a selection and the wall will change for you. Thirty-two wallpaper textures are included with the Chaville, while each room has a menu for twelve. These textures may be replaced by your own, of course, so you will never run out of options.
"Everything works" in the Chaville. The windows open. The interior shutters in the bedroom close. As mentioned above, the lights turn on and off. The mirrors reflect (if "mirrors" is enabled in preferences. The toilet flushes. The realistic flames in the fireplaces turn on and off, and have sound and size adjustments. While home shopping look for those features. Living in an Argyle home gives you more options, which makes living in one of our homes more enjoyable.
The Chaville is a large home, measuring approximately 25x38 meters, not counting the sidewalks (including the sidewalks makes the footprint about 38x38 meters. The prim count is very reasonable at a bit over 1000 LI. You must have a 4096 sqm parcel at a minimum for this home, but an 8192 or more is recommended. You need plenty of prims for furniture, after all. The ceiling height for both floors is 5 meters which is Argyle's standard ceiling height. We do that to prevent your camera from jumping around so much, plus we think it makes the rooms feel "airier".
