The Gentleman Snowman, being a true gent, takes off his dapper hat and bows to people that pass!
NEW: Version 2 (Christmas 2015). Swapped out some parts for mesh and redone the scripting totally. It is far more robust and uses collision detection (an invisible prim on the floor) rather than a laggy radar (in our defense it was our very first product!).
The land impact has been reduced from 12 down to 8.
More frames added to make a smoother animation while keeping it as low lag as possible.
The scripts are copy only, but the prims are mod/copy. You can add a greeter script or alter the colours of the snowman etc.
***** Remember to make a backup first! *****
--- How to setup ---
1. Rez the snowman and place where you want him to greet.
2. Turn on transparencies with CTRL+ALT+T to see the collision detection prim.
3. Move and resize it, to where people will walk, using "Edit linked".
4. Close the edit window and turn off transparencies (CTRL+ALT+T)
5. Walk over the detection prim to test!
Done!
