If you go to a lot of trouble to get a high quality house, and furnish it with quality items, and you come down to the washer, then this is your only option, in my opinion, to be able to match the rest of your house. If you have a junky sort of house just trying to get the least prims, then go ahead and get any of the other ones out there.
The Best
I've looked at a lot of washer and dryer options here in the Marketplace. Some just textures, some boxes with textures on them. None like what you'll find here. A real scripted mesh object with complete animations and everything. You even get a spin cycle with the washer!
I bought both, the matching washer and dryer. They work very well and look great in my home.
