The Mosquito also known as the Mosq for short is a frontline alien fighter ship capable of decimating opposing fleets with a combination of speed and its diverse fire power. Originally designed for mass-deployment in swarms, the Mosq was redeveloped to fly solo by adding twin tail lasers, anti-matter cannons, Sonic Ringers, Plasma Blasters, Neutron Cannons and its newly developed Sun Cannon. Based on its extraterrestrial organic engineering it offers advanced control in atmospheric conditions, increased speed, maneuverability and deflection shields alongside the hull. Its long legs offer great stability for landing in rough terrain and on some water planets. It is unknown if the organic material of this spaceship is alive or genetically engineered from mosquito larva dna but the outcome of the creation of the mosquito has been one that is feared among many based on its exotic weapon load and intimidating appearance.

The engine sounds can be turned off by clicking on each thruster in the center. The particle emitters will remain running in idle form. The sound of flight will be turned off automatically when docked or stopped formation.
