So, what is so special about this snow machine?
It is the snowmachine with the MOST REALISTIC Snow Feeling (plus additional weather effects), for more than 10 years, still featuring the most styles: a total of 15 snow settings (5 densities a 3 styles), almost each of them individually adjusted with their own custom-made textures, to achieve a very realistic look and feeling for each setting. I have put hours and hours in testing and adjusting each one to my best under different landscapings, day&night-times as also several computer graphic settings. You should be able to find your favourite snow ;)
Now you could take a look at the photos presented here, but they don't show even close the true beauty of those effects.
Version 2 is a major improvement over Version 1, based on the feedback of hundres of customers. Everything you have asked for or had problems with, came together to make this new version better, faster, easier, just more! The handling was improved to be as simple as possible. It got much easier to use it on huge areas. And best of all: The weather effects are many more and much better then ever before! You will love it or I guarantee your money back!
WEATHER EFFECTS
Weather Effects are not instantly, but smooth transitted, much like real life weather. A change will be seen occur within 10-60 seconds, after a new setting was made.
* 5 Snow Densities:
- No Snow
- "Wish it would snow", like the first snow in winter
- Light Snowfall
- Medium Snowfall
- Heavy Snowfall
- "OMG! It's a Blizzard", you don't want be outside with that weather
* 3 Snowflake Style:
- Crystal Snowflakes, gives that mystical snow feeling
- Fluffy Snowflakes, nice fat fluffy snowflakes
- Classic Snowflakes, the snowflakes known from version 1, but better
* 3 Fog Densities:
- Mist, very light fog
- Fog
- Pea Soup, it will almost make you not see your hand!
* 3 Fog Heights:
- No Fog
- Ground, some fog hovers lightly over the ground
- Waist, from the ground to somewhere between your waist and neck
- Tall, wide above your head
* Clouds:
- No Clouds
- Clouds, sky will be covered with some clouds. Their amount depends on how many of the other effects are active too - to avoid lag, less are drawn if everything is active for huge areas.
* Stop All
Easy to stop all effects at once per one touch, without need to scroll through the settings to find the "No Snow", "No Fog" etc.
OPTIONS
* Area to cover. The Following settings are available:
- "This Parcel", is the default setting. It will cover only the actual parcel and any other with 100% identical details and settings.
- "Same Owner": It will cover every parcel on the sim, that belongs to the same owner or was deeded to the same group.
- "Sim-wide": Just one button and it will cover as much area on the whole sim as possible, on same-owner land as also foreign land and where land is not restricted.
- "Specify Size": Select indivudally the area you want cover. There are 12 settings from 512 to 65536sqm available.
* Access
At default the machine can be operated only from it's owner. But you can choice to set the group or everyone to be able to change or stop weather effects.
ADVANCED FUNCTIONS
* Automatic Terrain Height Adjustment
The machine will automatically adjust the snow to the individual heights of your lands terrain, if used on ground or will just cover equally if used on skyboxes. No further action is required from you, this is a fully automated in-build feature.
* Individual Effect Source Adjustment
- Remove snow falls in buildings?
- You want it to snow over buildings instead or not at all there?
- Stop it going over the parcel borders?
- Cover areas you would like with no snow?
- You prefer to cover some other area instead additionally?

14 years of use and still the BEST
I purchased this product November 3rd 2010 and I just have to write AGAIN my review after trying new snow solutions just out of curiosity ( and spending) more then needed!
Still today, end 2023 this snow solution is simply the best , I have a big land and land impact needed to cover full land and wonderfully avoid any snow fall inside my home is just 2 LI. It looks great in day light as well in night light. Very realistic , Still enthusiast about it after almost 14 years!

I have bought it quite a few years ago and never wrote a review..( sorry ). After years of use, and trying few other weather machines this one keeps being the winner. That is why I decided to write a review... because who better then one "years old user" can write one real review? ;-)) Very good product, and when in the beginning I asked for initial help Jam was immediately ready to help. From then on all worked perfectly and I never had need for more assistance ( except for once : one reminder how to make that the snow doesn't fall inside the house..hey who wants snow inside ???!!!) . And yes this is also one big plus of this weather machine, the easy way to make it snow exactly where you do want the snow! I will take this occasion to remind Jam about the so wanted ...Snow on the ground.. :)) I can recommend this weather machine to all, new and old SL-ers .

I had the best snow on my land this past winter. I looked at many snow maker before I bought. This was my favorite by far. The snow is really beautiful and controllable. Now I'm hoping that the HUD gets updated soon.

This weather maker produces nice effects - as far as I got it working so far.
Had to learn someting to avoid snow in my house....
I splitted the land, so my house is on it's own "parcel" now. This should offer the option to have the effects on all the Homestead, but not where the house is.
Learned this late, so I got snow inhouse still, from earlier trials. Oki, the panel has a "STOP ALL" button, in red (you can't miss this), but the effects are still showing up. Wanted to open "ADVANCED", but it refuse to open.
Next idea was to open "OPTIONS" to reset the area. Takes 30 seconds to open, and when clicking on Area button, the dialog disappears with no further action.
No, I don't have to upgrade my computer:
Asus RogStrix X470 F-Gaming, AMD Ryzen 3 @ 4200, DDR4 Corsair Vengeance 3200, MSI GTX 1660ti plus original Nvidia GTX 2070, 700W powersupply.
This is good for 45fps average @ ultra grafic settings.... Okay, at Franks it drops to 15-19.
Thus still waiting for the chance to get the OPTIONS / AREA or the ADVANCED/RESET or DELETE ALL, but the day is still young, I am not too old and I might get results within 2019 LOL

Just, still can't get snowfall stopping! Even I hit the STOP ALL button - the system refuse. As it still snows into all our houses, this is a big MESS!
I was waiting 1 minute after each command, to give time, as the notecard tells that it might need some time to showup. But I am working since hours on this issue, and it still is snowing, *ARRRRGH*
And still the panel refuses to "answer", react or just do SOMETHING.
I just hope that my landlord can help with the effects....
