The Noticus

Thank you for purchasing NOTICUS. Origonally this started as a simple stationary system to keep track of projects. Since i do so many things it became neccessary for a centralized inworld data storage unit. That is where NOTICUS comes in.

First of all, rez NOTICUS on the ground. You will see it go through its boot sequence. Once the desktop is visible NOTICUS is ready to use.

To create a note simply hold down the left mouse button anywhere on the desktop. You will see it appear.

To select a note hold down the left mouse button on the note until it enlarges. A large note is considered selected.

To move a note just click anywhere on the screen that is empty and the note or notes will go there.

Here is a listing of the ten buttons on the left rim of NOTICUS from top to bottom and what they do...

NOTE : All buttons that affect notes apply to ALL notes selected.

NOTE : To auto zoom onto the screen left click the white glowing rim around the desktop. To leave auto zoom press the escape key.

NOTE : Upon first rez NOTICUS will show the default desktop. if at any timethe desktop is changed noticus will display THAT desktop upon rez or restart.

Large Blue Eye
Assigns an image to selected notes that appears when it is selected.
A text box will appear. Go to your inventory and find a texture you like. Right click it. Select copy UUID. Paste this into the textbox and hit submit. Your texture is now assigned to the note and will appear whenever the note is selected.

Yellow Starburst
Assigns floating text to the selected notes that appears when the note is not selected.
A text box will appear. Write what you want. Hit submit.

Black Capital Letter A
Assigns floating text to the selected notes that appears when the note is selected.
A text box will appear. Write what you want. Hit submit.

Yellow No Symbol
Deletes all selected Notes.

White Sound Waves
Assigns a sound to selected notes that will play on left click if the note is selected.
A text box will appear. Go to your inventory and find a sound you like. Right click it. Select copy UUID. Paste this into the textbox and hit submit. Your sound is now assigned to the note and will play whenever the note is selected and you left click it.

White Chat bubble
Assigns some chat to be said by the selected notes that will be said on left click and if the note is selected.
A text box will appear. Write what you want. Hit submit.

Green Mountains
Assigns a new desktop image to NOTICUS
Note that the old desktop image is lost if replaced.
A text box will appear. Go to your inventory and find a texture you like. Right click it. Select copy UUID. Paste this into the textbox and hit submit. Your texture is now assigned to the desktop.

Small Blue Eye
Assigns an image to selected notes that appears when it is not selected.
A text box will appear. Go to your inventory and find a texture you like. Right click it. Select copy UUID. Paste this into the textbox and hit submit. Your texture is now assigned to the note and will appear whenever the note is not selected.

Green Power Button
Resets NOTICUS. Note that once reset ALL notes vanish and the desktop resets to its origonal image.
