The PBR Lab - Floral Tiles Vol 1 Multipack

When you purchase materials from us you will receive both a PBR version and a full “Legacy” version which includes Diffuse, Specular and Normal textures.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

A multipack containing 11 ceramic tile materials with an embossed floral design.
Each material is unique, not only in color, there are also variations in the scale and layout of the embossed floral elements as well as variation in the brush strokes, paint weights and random imperfections on each material.

The materials have varying levels of reflectivity, with the glossy painted floral elements being more reflective than the light gray tile base, but overall the reflectivity is fairly mild.

You can increase the reflectivity by lowering the Roughness value in the PBR material editor. You can also add grayscale color tints to make the materials darker or experiment by tinting with other colors for some cool results.

These PBR materials are reflective enough for the surface colors to be mildly influenced by colors from environmental (EEP) lighting and local lighting. As a result, the surface colors may appear a bit different compared to our images, depending on the colors within your own lighting. Use of a reflection probe is recommended.

Whilst each individual material tiles seamlessly, the 11 materials do not tile with each other.

Let’s break down exactly what you will get with this purchase:

11 x Compiled PBR materials in both 1k and 2k resolution - You can immediately apply these to any surface face or object. You will need a PBR enabled viewer to use this.

A set of legacy textures in both 1k and 2k resolution that will allow you to create a non PBR version of each material that consists of:

> 1 x Diffuse texture - Includes baked in ambient occlusion/highlights when required
> 1 x Normal texture
> 1 x Specular texture

> 1 x PBR Base Color texture - this can be used in hybrid PBR/legacy texture builds. Instructions on how to create hybrid PBR/legacy texture builds are included.

With 4 textures provided for each material, in both 1k and 2k resolution, that totals 88 textures.

We strive to make the legacy textures look as close to the PBR version as possible, however this is not always achievable when it comes to reflective surfaces as this is where PBR really shines!

PRODUCT IMAGES - Images of our PBR materials were taken using the LL viewer with graphics set to ultra, using a PBR compatible EEP, reflection probe and local lighting.

ENVIRONMENTS - We advise using a PBR compatible EEP. Search the SL Marketplace for "PBR EEP Collection" for a free one to try.

REFLECTION PROBES - We advise using a Reflection Probe around PBR surfaces especially when used within interior spaces. Search the SL Forum for “Second Life PBR Tutorials”.

MATERIALS & PRIMS - When a material is applied to a prim, the prim will be converted into mesh and the Li recalculated. It’s important to add a physics shape to the new mesh, edit the object, go to the “Features” tab, change the “Physics Shape Type” to “Convex Hull”.

LICENCE INFORMATION

You may use our full perm PBR materials and legacy textures in your own prim, sculptie or mesh creations and are allowed to sell those creations within Second Life and on the SL Marketplace for profit.

You may use our full perm PBR materials and legacy textures in any imagery or video that you create within Second Life, including endeavours that generate profit.

You cannot sell, redistribute or give away any of our full perm PBR materials and legacy textures under any circumstances.
