The good news is that Linden labs have created the blake Sea and it is loaded with little islands and places to explore personally this was the reason for creating this boat. have fun taking your friend on boat trips i have spent hours exploring around these parts of second life Crossing sims on water is basically floor less, you don't even notice that your sim crossing so its just like one big giant ocean.

The pioneer may well be one of the most practical boats in second life
With its low prim NO attachments and the ability to walk completely around it, inside it, take passengers and park it any where you please
with out having to worry about attachment prims that need to rezz as most of the nice places to explore in Second life "with a boat" do not allow rezzing of other boat attachments.

Controls: W,A,S,D Page Up and Page Down will set the throttle level for hands free movement.

Realistic Dynamic Ocean movement
The boat rocks back and forth and rolls left and right as to give the true ocean water simulation.

Sitting arrangements:
You can setup the way you sit (for example say you take a partner out into the middle of the ocean and you just want to sit with them on the boat but you don’t want to be sitting as if you are still driving correct? well you can change the master sitting position and be facing the other passenger / passengers and have the boat script disabled in this mode so it becomes non physical.

Options: Clicking the boat will make a Blue dialog appear in the top left of your screen here you will see 3 options.

1 Public / privet: Sets ether owner only may drive. Or every one and friends.
2 Bed / seats: will turn the seat prim into a bed using some crafty scripting and also saving prims
3 Sitting: will change the sitting position and disable the driving system so you can sit and relax out in the middle of the ocean

Bed: Change the seats in a bed with one click this will also update the sitting poses. (Please stand up between changing from the seats to the bed to avoid unwanted issues)
1 pose is included here (only a simple couple cuddle animation)

Sound Effects: The engine sound effects have been painstakingly edited and scripted to give an all most floorless realistic authentic diesel engine sound you can observe this by viewing the video I have uploaded on to youtube.

Particle Effects: The wake water effects and propeller effects have been designed / Scripted to be as realistic as possible in different driving situations for example moving backwards employs a totally different particle system to driving forward. Also when the boat is parked these particle generators are still hard at work making mist and tiny splash effects.

Anker: The anker works you simply click it (after standing up) and it will drop from the boat and imbed its self into the ground at the bottom of the ocean also a particle rope will appear to be connected to both the boat and anker. Attempting to drive off while the anker is still under water will result in your boat not being able to move away. Click the object where the particle chain connects and your anker will reattach the boat.

Door: Simple opening and closing rear door click operation.

Textures: All textures are original and have been hand painted so you can be assured you are buying a quality product. No free textures/scripts have been used in this product.

As of right now I do not have any land to have this boat rezzed in world but I plan on doing so based on sales but if you would like a demo ride call me up when im online and you can take it for a spin.

FAQ’s

1. My passengers or I cant sit? There are only 2 automated sitting positions the rest will have to actually walk inside the boat or up to the location of where they want to sit. Just like sitting on a non scripted seat.
