An original etching and dry point printed in black ink on laid paper bearing an unidentified watermark (the letters “V G”). This is a strong and clear impression of Bartsch’s third and final state, Usticke’s fourth state of six, printed after the previously white patches at the upper edge of the plate were filled in with shading.
