The Tower of Transfer : For Tiny Empires and Tiny Empires 3000 Version 4.9

This is an accessory for sharing acres in Tiny Empires and ships in Tiny Empires 3000, between up to one hundred (100) Givers and Receivers.

• This is useful for acre parties in kingdoms and queendoms, where a great number of people may want to give acres to help someone achieve a rank, take the next step in the path to royalty, or recover from a sabotage.

• It serves a similar purpose for ships in guilds for TE3K.

• This is also useful for managing a large number of alts giving acres or ships to a main player.

Get everyone involved. Share the resources; and by working together you give more, grow faster, and build a greater realm.

The Tower arranges the Givers into a complex pattern, then moves the Receiver(s) between the Givers to maximize their exposure and allow all of the Givers an opportunity to transfer acres or ships.

Once a Receiver reaches the top of the Tower, they dramatically plunge back to the start, allowing those slower Givers a chance to try again.

Here in the Kingdom of Gryffindor one issue we've found is that there's a lot of confusion at acre parties. They can get lagged and chaotic, and it's difficult to move the Receiver and the Giver together.

Others have tried to solve the problem with clocks and tables and trader circles and trees and other pose arrangements that bring people closer together, but they're limited to less than ten people. Even the smallest empires have more than ten people. You probably have that many directs.

So, I did some math and here's what I found.

• Most acre transfer arrangements only held 5 Givers and 1 Receiver, because they're flat, in 2 dimensions.

• More advanced arrangements, such as the Dancing Tree or the Magic TE Helper, accommodate up to 8 Givers and 1 Receiver, by using 3 dimensions.

• The Tower of Transfer can manage up to 100 (the max number of agents in a full region) Givers and Receivers because it exists in 4 dimensions. It uses time as well as space.

This item has been approved by Ultralite Soleil for use with Tiny Empires. It doesn't interact with the TE/TE3K HUD to give or take acres/ships. It just makes people close, so that they can more easily do it themselves.

This item requires that you have permission to rez objects, ideally in a quiet area. (Not a sandbox.)

The Tower of Transfer is low impact, with only 2 prims and 1 script. Nothing further is rezzed, even temporarily. Instead everyone floats in space like magical, mystic arts masters.

It requires at least a 5x5m ground area for setup, and may be up to 54m tall.

It can accommodate up to 100 avatars, depending on the system load, because that's the maximum SL allows in a region. (Please be polite if others are trying to use the region.)

The current record, that I've heard, is 86 people on the Tower at once! (Let me know if you break this record.)

You can have multiple Receivers as well as multiple Givers. The intent of having multiple Receivers on the same Tower is to accommodate players who use the same avatars for both Tiny Empires and Tiny Empires 3000. This way the Receivers can be from different games. Though you could also have multiple Receivers from the same game. (It's your Tower. Use it the way you want.)
