This one you have to see! For real, I would make these shelves nail-free, no hardware at all, just wood and glue. In that case a few wooden pegs will hold the shelf supports in place. Vertical slats, backboards, endboards, support triangle - it's all there!
A simple, practical design, though it has a little more to it than straight-posts-and-boards. Proportionally sized, common construction. The sculptie design allows for some stretching in any direction, without making it look weird; experiment to suit your needs.
The sample has texture mapping set on all prims, favoring a texture with a vertical woodgrain. The sample comes in red-pine finish.
TIP: Check the texture mapping on the sample. The odd number (in both senses) used for vertical repeats results in less of a repetitive look of the texture. When using a texture with shaded edges, always set repeats to 16, 32, 64, etc.
