You need a prim to hold a script, but a mere cube won't do. That was the situation for which we had to make something a little more interesting. This "laser scanner" device was designed to hang from a ceiling, but nothing says that you can't rotate it and mount on wall or floor. Nothing says you can't use it for anything else - it's your imagination.
Each 'part' of the sculptie can be textured separately, combined in a single texture. For this gadget, you need a 4x128 or 4x64 texture mapping grid. Color-coded if possible.
