As soon as someone enters, the timer starts at 10 minutes. Simple, right? But that's where the fun begins.
Anyone can come up and play a game with the occupant.
If the occupant wins, they get out free. If they lose, the timer resets and they gain a restriction if they're running the RLV with a relay. In a tie, there are no penalties, but also no freedom.
So what keeps them from just waiting the timer down? If the occupant doesn't respond with a move in 30 seconds, it's a loss. If the challenger doesn't make a move in 60 seconds, the game is just null and it acts like a tie.
Proper stratagy says you can tie every time, however, you might be busy inside the cage for the duration of the timer :)
