The tidal scripts are designed to mimic the tides on the seas of Second Life. And because water level is always constant, the only way to mimic a tide is to move objects up and down.

Please note:

THESE SCRIPTS DO NOT CHANGE THE WATER LEVEL IN YOUR SIM.

They move objects up and down to create the impression of tides.

You can, still, make a prim to resemble water and move up-down using these scripts.

== PRODUCTS ==

For individual objects:

1. A HUD that allows you to set parameters.
2. Two scripts to insert in the objects.

For groups of objects:

1. A notecard that will have your settings.
2. A single script to go with the notecard in any object you want to follow tides.

Additionally, you can insert the scripts into a prim that will move up and down like the sea.

== WHAT CAN IT DO ==

1. Mimic natural tides.
The scripts calculate the expected tides based on sun and moon position. They can work also using day length settings.

2. Full control.
You can set the height of tides, the timelapse and the mode of tides.

3. Modes:
- Use parcel's sun and moon settings (force of the sun and the moon can act together or in opposite ways, resulting in different tides).
- Use sim's sun and moon settings.
- Use parcel's day length (two tides a day).
- Use sim's day length.
- Use your own settings, independent of nature.

Can be used for single objects (which will move differently) or can be synchronised for more objects (if settings are the same).
