A pack of 15 authentic Japanese Ukiyo-e woodcut prints from the 1850s.
These textures are based on original woodcut prints by the famous artist, Ando Hiroshige (1797-1858).
They are from the series 'Views of Mout Fuji' which was originally issued posthumously in 1858/9.
I have carefully optimized them for use in Second Life.
They are 512 pixels in height and the following images are in the set:
Kazusa kanosan - Mount Kano in Kazusa Province 1858
Suruga miho no matsubara - Pine beach at Miho in Suruga
Tanba kanesaka - Kanesaka of Tanba
Suruga Satta no Kaijo - Sea at Satta in Suruga Province
Toto ochanomizu - Ochanomizu in the eastern capitol
Toto meguro yuhhigaoka - Sunset Hill, Meguro in the eastern capitol
Sagamigawa - Sagami River
Shimotsuke chuzenji kosui - Chuzenji Lake in Shimozuke Province
Yoroi-no watashi koami-cho - Yoroi ferry at Koami District
Kazusa rokusozan - Mt Rokusu in Kazusa Province

Toto tsukudajima - Off Tsukuda islan
These prints look wonderfully contemporary in a modern house, or of course could be used in traditional Japanese dwellings - they would also look great on tshirts or bedding.
I have also included a handy texture viewer to help you browse and select a texture.
