Tinkers Inc. Window Tinter/Controller.
The controller is 1 Land Impact/Prim and each window will use 1 Land Impact/Prim*.
*Please note if you expand the windows very large it may use extra Land Impact.
Simply rez as many windows as you need for your building and set the channel in the description box to group them to your controller.
Then rez your controller and set the same channel number in the description box.
(You can have a separate controller for each window or control all with the same one).
Once you have set the channels touch the controller and each of the windows to reset them, this will set the channel you put in the descriptions.
The 1 prim controller has 3 options:
♦ Blinds - Toggles blinds on/off for both inside and outside of glass.
♦ Private - Toggles privacy setting on/off for outside edge of the glass (solid black texture with no alpha).
♦ Clear - Sets all windows back to standard glass windows that you can see through.
All the textures are built into the system so you don't have to worry about accidentally deleting them.
You can set a colour to the windows as to tint them but please note this will also effect the colour of the blinds.
You can also change the colour of the controller so it matches your decor, simply set the colour on the texture tab of the edit menu.

- Controllers & Windows are ONLY 1 PRIM EACH!
- Control multiple windows with the same controller
- Simple Setup (no notecards or complicated menus)
- Open/Close Blinds + Privacy Feature
- Ideal in skybox rentals, set different channel on each set of windows/controller
Just what I was looking for
Just what I was looking for to add some privacy to my rental - rezzed the windows just inside the existing windows, set the channels and I have some great looking blinds and am able to set privacy.
I would like to see the controller a bit smaller, or able to be shrunk as it's quite large and I don't have room for it on the wall it relates to, but I have managed to place it ok.
Many thanks!
