To achieve the most realistic effect with this texture, simply apply it to a prim, then drop the included script into the prim. After that, you may color the prim however you want.
The script is modifiable, so go ahead and adjust the speed of the water if you need to.
I am making the script and texture full-perm, so may use it in any creations you make, but trying to resell JUST the texture or script will have harsh consequences . You know the drill.

this has to be the simplest script around...
the graphic is good...
but if you want a river with some texture or are creating a river of any length. I would look else where. when making a long river the graphic distorts and I could not figure out how to make it look like if it should..
