ok so
u have to stand outside of the ship then u right hand click the mouse and click to fly is how u get the commands to work u cant do it within the ship still kool tho just needs a star chart to other worlds is there any ??
Love it!
Perfect for my first spaceship. Low prim. Easy to fly. Includes a modifiable rezzer too. Good for a small transport ship or a place to live when traveling the 'Verse. :-D
Awesome Ship! Best Feature is Hidden
I recently started doing some sci-fi RP and wanted to be an independent trader. I almost ended up with a competitor's ship for 7 times the price and it was no mod. I spotted this and thought it had an interesting look. The living quarters and freight looked totally cheezy. At least it had a docking tube which most ships don't. And it's mod so I could retexture the hull.
Then I bought it and realized those cheezy interiors and the docking tube were done with a scene rezzer. I IM'd the maker and asked the obvious "Can I do my own scenes for this?" expecting the answer to be no since there was no mention of it in the features list or documentation. The mind blowing answer was YES! It's a full fledged scene rezzer! You drop a script into the objects(must be copy/mod) in the scene, record their positions with the rezzer, pick them up as a single object and drop them into the contents of the rezzer prim.
Goodbye cheezy and hello incredibly awesome; stacks of sci-fi looking cargo containers and a freight hover sled, a cabin, and engine room, etc. Objects don't have to be be internal. It can only rez one scene at a time and if you move the ship the scene moves in a stuttering fashion behind it. That could even work if one did a set of towed freight modules or something similar.
Ok, for the rest. It flies fairly well if a little too responsive at times. The Paxwerx jump drive has one of the best jump effects I've seen. Everything about this just works well.
As for mods; I added another iris door to the hall leading to the bridge Changed the engine configuration, and repainted with new textures. Oh yeah, and I now have a scene rezzer to use for other projects since it can be de-linked from the ship. That was worth the price right there.
So if you want to do sci-fi RP and fly a ship, don't even hesitate! This one will fit in pretty much any genre with the right texturing. I still can't believe the scene rezzer is undocumented.
A nice addition to my fleet,...
Yet, it isn't completely to my expectations...the bed is rather hard, & is a single? Where o where will my co-pilot sleep?
Worth 10x the Price
I've paid more than 10x more for ships that aren't 1/2 what this one is. This is my favorite ship by far.
