TORCHERES
A pair of torcheres made in tole painted in bottle green and gilt.
Of triangular form, they are composed of a pedestal with a laurel leaf wreath and a central star, on which are three winged cupids supporting the central mast, in the form of a pillar with decoration in relief of climbing ivy in helical form.
Designed to hold up glass swivels to illuminate large reception rooms.
*Version with puttis in white included.
