This Training Dummy was designed using the Spell Fire combat system and wont work on any other system. It wont take damage just by collision it has to be hit with a spell fire handed weapon in order to take damage.
Unlike most training dummys, this one hits back. It uses the spell fire system to kick out damage that only works on the spell fire meter. Much time has been taken to examine ranges, speeds and damage abilities of all the weapons within this dummy.
It was developed by someone who has been using the system since it was first released, much study has gone into its workings and, in the end, a dummy has been produced, that, up until now, hasnt been available as seen.
How to work the Dummy;
Place the dummy on the ground and rotate so it stands upright, if that is required.
Clicking the dummy will bring up an option menu.
Level:
Runs from beginner to expert. The only difference in the levels is the hit points. These are NOT health values as much as the spell fire meter depicts health. The dummy is only defeated once its Hit points reach 0. Basicaly, the levels are designed to see how long you can survive against the dummy.
Weapon:
Here you can select a one handed sword (default selection), 2 handed sword/ axe, Pole arm, Dual weilds, dagger and Katana. All weapons kick out the same amount of damage as the actual spell fire weapons of this type, at the same range and swing rate.
Reset:
This resets the dummy to the selected level and weapon.
Fight:
This puts the dummy in fight mode. Approaching him just outside his weapons range, will trigger his attack. The dummy will not stop attacking once you fall unconcious. To stop the dummy attacking once it is set in fight mode, simple touch it and it will sheath its weapon.
The dummy's default mode is beginner with a 1 handed sword.
If you own the dummy, you will need a spell fire meter version 1.7 or lower for it to actualy damage your health.
Menu system may be a bit 'sticky' so be sure the dummy tells you what you have selected to be sure its selected.
You will notice that the dummy constantly swings if an avatar is within rage. All the swing speeds have been closely matched to those used with spell fire weapons. The idea behind the dummy is to learn blocking and stricking attacks for different weapons.

Enjoy your training dummy.
