Thank you for your interest in the Reich & Rexen Hi Tech Turbolift System. These flexible elevators offer great looks, sound effects, and style. And unlike conventional elevators, there is no need to mess around cutting holes in your floor! You can place the included lift stops anywhere in the sim and travel between them at the push of a button. You can even use physical travel THROUGH solid prims, but do this sparingly unless you like bumpy rides.

Version 3.3 and beyond boast new features and refinements, including improved physical movement, speed control and other customization options, better staff controls, access rights for the lift itself (to stop unwanted users from boarding) and much more! You can even run multiple lifts on the same network, or multiple stops with the same name! The call buttons will automatically locate the closest idle lift, and the turbolift's menu will remove duplicate names.

Lift destinations (stops) can be setup anywhere in the current sim. You can even place multiple lifts next to each other. They will not interfere as they only respond to stops with the same object description. Thus, for example, you could have two elevators in your lobby. One that services the first 10 floors, and a seperate, private cab for the penthouse.

The lift supports nearly unlimited destinations, all of which can be selected from a simple menu, by pushing a button on the optional control panel, or by stating your destination in public chat (ala Star Trek.) In addition, the owner and staff can send the lift anywhere using manual override. And if that's not enough, each lift can be programmed for one of three movement types, physical, non-physical, and warp (teleport.)
