The Turkish Ottoman Platform is Inspired by my visit last year year to Turkey, to witness a total solar eclipse. The main event was at a place called Kolpuru Canyon, but the after party was 300km away in a valley called Olympos.
Around 500 party goers descended on Olympos to party for another five days (after 8 days at the main party - Soulclipse). The platforms were set up at each of the backpackers hostels (known as pensions). They provided a social hub for socialisation of all sorts. From sharing aromatic Turkish tobacco with newly made friends, to debating the rights and wrongs of the world, they were always an active and lively place to 'hang out'.
The Turkish Ottoman Platform, with genuine Turkish fabrics and seating for 11. At just 24 prims it is an effective way of adding a social space for friends to catch up, or to meet new people.
