Nice and yes you can resize it. Just edit the linked prims just note it takes a bit to do and there are small bubbles you have to place inside the crystal but it can be sized smaller i did it to mine and still works great and fits perfect now.
Great particle effects
The particle effects are great. They're fast and simple. Exactly the kind of graphics you want to enhance roleplay. My only problem with this staff is that it's HUGE! I do not have a gigantis avatar (like so many people do), so this staff is just too big for me, and I can't seem to resize it smaller.
