* The side hinge pivot point is accomplished by making half the mesh, one transparent face.
The pivot point is still in the centre of the mesh but you only see the door part.
Face 2, the invisible side of the door, is set transparent.
Door A is plain flat but has different texture faces each side, and different faces for the top/bottom and vertical side edges.
Door B has a frame and inset for a glass texture, your shop sign, or what you like.
The two sides of Door B are 4 faces. The two frame faces are set planar, all other sides are default.
The inside of the window frame and the four thin sides of Door B door are one face.
I went looking for a mesh door with the side hinge pivot point, to replace some old school cut pathed prim doors.
Bought some, they all had the pivot point in the center. Bad place for a hinge, but works with some door scripts.
So I made these.
I resolved the pivot point issue by making half the mesh one transparent face. (see photos)
Prims in motion usually pass through avatars so the invisible side of the door is not likely to whack anyone.
With Door A I tried to make it so the other side would pass above and below the avatar but SL physics insists anything thinner than a half metre must be a box so it didn't make any difference. The physics on both doors is the same.
