Honestly one of the greatest
Been flying this Helicopter now over two years, One of the best, honestly most realistic helicopters in SL, tons of great features. Now I honestly only wish TOC would release a UH-1 with some of these same features. I definitely would pay out whatever price to have one. But this UH-60 is one of the best heli's I've ever flown.
Very Beautiful Well put together But...
I am part of the SLMC part of second life, and what ive noticed is that these Helicopters don't have Any Hp systems. is it not made For LLCS? or is there a Sim Totally Dedicated to these Vehicles?
Best Black Hawk in Secondlife
This is a highly crafted work of art. The detail is simple amazing and crucially actually flying with good detail to the actual flight feel of the craft, cross winds, pitch et al.
There are plenty of cheap generic black hawks on second life that a child could fly and do not reflect the realism. However if you want the closest thing to reality with unprecedented detail, flight accuracy even down to the sounds of the turbines then this is the one.
A little unpredictable...
I have to say this first. The look and feel of the chopper just sitting on the ground feels very nice and realistic. Now getting that out of the way, flying her is a completely different story. Just tapping a directional key sends you in that direction at 100mph with almost no control whatsoever. Not sure this is normal, but after contacting the owner about the difficult controls and receiving a "that's the way it is, take it or leave it" response, I'm none too happy... I'm therefor forced to give this otherwise beautiful machine a 2 star rating simply because the control systems seem broken.
Great Helicopter
As with all OCS products that I have purchased the attention to detail and realism of this airship is amazing. The downside is that it is hard to find any combat sims that allow the OCS combat system. Fulda gap is the only area I have found that uses and allows the OCS system and it is a very small combat area not suited for long range vehicles. Because of this buyer should beware that usability of this airship is EXTREMELY limited. However, the vehicle itself is top notch and a pleasure to fly. I give it 5 stars as the Black Hawk is fun to use even on sims where it cannot be used to inflict damage. Thumbs up for OCS.
Another Great Vehicle
Another great vehicle by April. I love the detail and how well it fly's. It would be a 5 star vehicle except for the fact that as with the other Omega vehicles it sucks that I cant leave my stuff out on the Half sim I am renting. I am a huge buyer of Omega weapons and wish I could leave my vehicles in my garage. Other then that this Blackhawk is an awsome chopper.
