This is the Sighthund Mod for the TWI Timber Wolf avatar. It will NOT work on any other avatar OR as its own standalone thing, you need to make sure you own the TWI Timber wolf to use this.
This is a passion project I started in early 2023 and I think it's my most ambitious one yet. I was a little less experienced when I started this mod so I believe I could do better on it now, but I decided it was finally time to just release it without worrying about all the perfections.
This is also most likely going to be my last full bodymod for the TWI wolf as I'd like to move on to other projects. I've had so much fun making this and all of my past mods, and seeing how people in the community use them.
Thanks to Bowno Scarbridge for helping me out immensely with half the process of finishing this and reigniting my spark that died for this project a long while ago.
Includes:
Body, head, ears, eyes, legs & tail replacers.
Borzoi head
Saluki ears & tail
Poodle puffs
Has to be my favorite bodymod yet
Love love loooove this body mod! As someone who struggled a LOT to make my own body mod, I know the soul crushing struggles that go into the whole process- that said, I can see how much love was put into this. The body mod itself has a few quirks (ears wont fit *quite* right, but messing with shape sliders and getting a little creative helps) but tbh I don't mind them very much. 5/5 stars from me because I just haven't clicked with other body mods quite like I have with this one!
Good, unique body type with a few things to stay aware of
I really love this body mod, the more lithe shape works for a lot of characters I have and brings new life to the TWI wolf. However, there are a few things buyers may want to be aware of before purchasing that aren't obvious from the ad pics.
First of all, you cannot use any (that I have found) heads/ears that have been made for the default wolf. The head/neck on this mod are a lot thinner, so there will be a large gap if you try to use normal heads on the sighthound body and vice versa (pic 1). Ears meant for the default head will also be out of place (pic 2). This isn't something to dock a star over, just something to be aware of if you planned to mix parts.

The biggest thing for me is the problem with the normals at the shoulders and especially thighs. They look very strange, almost like a maze/squishy thigh mod, though I don't think it's intentional. At first I thought it might have been a skin/material issue, but even after turning the body pure white and removing all materials, they were still visible (pics 3-5). Probably less noticeable on a darker skin.

Finally, there is a gap between the saluki tail and the fur towards its tip (pic 6) and the fur itself will look a bit strange (pic 7, using the default white bom skin that comes with the wolf), though the second point can be resolved by changing the texture scaling settings a bit in edit mode, or using a different skin with less contrast there.

I know I ripped into it here, but I DO enjoy this mod aside from those points, and it's a good buy if you don't mind them.
