The US Weather Panel is a scripted display board that shows real-time weather data for the 12 largest and most climate-diverse cities in the United States. Designed as a stylish floating panel, it lets users instantly view current temperature and weather conditions for cities like New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Denver, and more.

Whether you're decorating a skybox, setting up an immersive club scene, or adding ambiance to your living room or RP setting, this weather panel adds realism, atmosphere, and a smart modern aesthetic to your environment.

With a simple touch, users are presented with a clean dialog menu. Selecting a city will fetch the latest forecast for that location using Open-Meteo's real public API, and the display above the object updates with the city name, local hour, temperature in °C, and a clear weather status.

This is a HUD-free solution that runs entirely in-world using optimized LSL scripting. It uses llHTTPRequest to retrieve live data, and llSetText to present the information in a floating, readable format above the panel.

The selected 12 U.S. cities are chosen specifically to represent the country’s full range of weather regions. From humid subtropical to desert, from coastal to mountainous, each location offers unique climate dynamics:
