The Himeko body is a Modern anime body for modern times, intended to eventually be a worthy successor to the Kemono avatar body. The Kemono body had a good run 10 year but it's age catching up with it and while the Himeko body draws some inspiration from the Kemono avatar body, it is a brand new project started over from scratch with the aim to address some of the many long standing problems with the Kemono body. Problems such as incomplete appearance editor slider support, no LLUV skin support, the ha*sle with applying skins and materials to mods and conflicts between mods, general script accessibility for modders and developers, numerous rigging, geometry and general anatomical problems.

There is currently a big problem with joint offsets and how bones work on SL which results in the "body fat" slider deforming your avatar, use the "body thickness" slider instead, check the known problems section in the manual for more information.

I loved it
I've used Kemono for almost my entire time in SL, 5 years, 420 outfits in total lol.
This has been a great successor, I've finally been able to upgrade to a body that I like, it has met my expectations, I have no complaints whatsoever.
The only thing I hope is that clothes and accessories for this body continue to be released, such as furry paws compatible with stockings or things like that.

Wish there was a tintable option for skins
I absolutely do se this as a successor!
My one gripe is that I cannot for the life of me get my BOM layers to apply to LLUVA or LLUVB but this is more of a user-error (Maybe I can't read)
I look forward to more masculine clothing options in the future as I've had so much fun making an anime toon stylised look!
I still see it as a project, not as a finished body
I love the creations of this store, but I can't say the same about this Himeko body, I think it should be redone, and forget this story of the kemono shape, leave the body in a free shape, but solving the problem of the neck seam would already be perfect, the kemono shape breaks the body completely, making any kind of change in the shape impossible, the hands are also having problems, it has no nails, it's a half unfinished body that would be perfect if it were 10 years ago, but for today's standards it's better to continue using your reborn, maitreya or legacy with a collar on the neck to disguise the seam with the m4 heads than to spend money on this body.. unfortunately I can't recommend x..x
Body needs fixing.
I loved the mesh body so much, the neck seam is finally gone, and it feels like the anime head ontop of this mesh body is perfect, however, the hands, arms needs fixing, the sliders simply don't work as well, makes the wrist fat when you try to increase muscle on the arms. The feet feels wrong, around the ankles specifically. I'm willing to change the review to five stars once the mesh body gets few updates and such.
The mesh body itself is best mesh body out there on the anime market , as for now, I would like to see few updates for sure in the future.
Worthy successor to Av 2.0 and Kemono, but...
...There is one glaring flaw which unfortunately prevents me from giving this body a full 5 star review, and that's the breast size
Now this body does allow you to use breast sliders to increase (or decrease I suppose) the breasts, however doing so breaks them (as noted in the body's readme), and the body does come with a HUD to un-break them. However, using the HUD to unbreak the customized breasts disables jiggle physics..
Basically what this means is you can either have jiggle physics with the default breast size, or a custom breast size with no jiggle physics, which is somewhat of a conundrum.
If this ever gets fixed or gets a functional workaround, I will update my review, but as it is now while it is a good body, just be aware that the breast customization has this issue.
