This bulk liquid carrier was one of the first US experiments in tank car design. The model is textured to match an example in the St. Louis Museum of Transportation.
Built by Union Tank Car in 1910, this "Van Dyke"-patent frameless tank car used a tank with an extra stiffening plate on the bottom in place of an underframe.

Please note that these wagons are unscripted and for stationary scenic use only until we get a better SLRR VRC script working.
