What This Script Does:
A script for builders to add to their door creations. Handles automatic sliding movement and access control. The script itself does NOT include a door - you add this to your own door object.
For Builders - Setup:
1. Create your door object
2. Add this script to the door
3. Add two sound files named exactly:
- "Open"
- "Close"
4. If using group mode: Set door to correct group
Owner Menu System:
MAIN MENU:
Lock - Blocks all access
Group - Only group members
Open - Public access
Settings - Adjustments
Offset - Slide direction
Info - Statistics
SETTINGS:
- Speed (0.1-1.0)
- Range (1-10m)
- Offset Direction:
X+/- (Right/Left)
Y+/- (Forward/Back)
Important Notes:
Script only provides functionality
Must be added to an existing door
Door MUST be set to correct group for group mode
Position offset controls slide direction
Settings save automatically
Door must not be a linked item!
End User Experience:
Door opens automatically on approach
Closes when no avatars detected
Click to manually open/close
Group members only in group mode
Non-members get group invite
Requirements:
Door object (NOT included)
Two sound files (named "Open" and "Close")
Land with script permissions
Group setup for group mode
