I wrote this tip jar after realizing that the tip jars out there would not do all the functions I needed. As such I set out to create the ultimate tip jar. I asked other Club owners, Dj's, and Hosts what they wanted to see as functions in a tip jar. I then took that list and made a tip jar that would do it all!
The tip jar is configured via a .Config notecard and does not have menus to configure it.
This first release is in a standard square prim. Im working with a mesh maker to get other options.
The Ultimate tip jar supports
User Configurable messages!
These messages can contain macros that are replaced with things like "logged in user name", "last tip amount", and "name of last tipper"
You can set the following messages:
Thank you message
Overhead hover text
Login message in multi-user mode
Split warning message
Configurable Single User or multi-user modes
User Configurable pay buttons
User Configurable hover text color
User Configurable default Picture for Front and Back of tip jar.
Can be set to use the owner profile pic or a custom picture in single user mode.
User Configurable volume for Thank you message
Can be set to:
Whisper
Say
Shout
Region Say
Can be configured so that in Multi-User mode any payments received when no one is logged in will go to the tip jar owner.
With a customizable default pay name that is used in the macros.
Multi-User access permissions
In multi-user mode access can be restricted to Owner, Group, or Everyone
Auto-logout control (multi-user)
When Auto-logout is set, the user will be logged out of the tip jar when they leave.
you can set the range the person has to stay in as well as the number of seconds before they are logged out.
Auro-Derez (single user)
When Auto-Derez is set, the tip jar will delete itself when the owner leaves
you can set the range you will have to stay in as well as the number of seconds before it deletes itself.
Split of the take (Both Single User and Multi-User)
You can designate an AV to get a percentage of the tip.
It is always rounded up for the logged in user and down for the split user.
For example, if the tip is 7L$ the logged in user will get 4L$ and the Split will get 3L$ at a 50/50 split.
When a user is logged in they are notified about the split. See "Split Warning Message"
Can Log tips to Google Docs spreadsheet!
Will log Who tipped, Who was logged into the tip jar, Total Tip amount, Amount of split, as well as a date and time stamp.
