Not for me
Maybe I should never have bought this plane. I attach little value to a realistic startup procedure. I miss a quick start.
I think realistic flight dynamics are more important.
Flying in mouselook without gestures is not for me.
Well built plane and looks great but does not have gesture control
The model this plane is based on is a favorite of mine. I still have the model that used to be available from another creator that is no longer in SL.
For purist realism minded pilots, this plane is probably a great choice, as confirmed by the other two reviews so far. But due to the lack of gesture control, if you are in the class of pilots that cannot fly in mouse view due to physical limitations, this plane will not be useful.
My four star rating above is mostly because the plane is a highly accurate visual representation of a great plane. However, without being able to fly it, I am unable to evaluate the quality of the flight engine, so can't give a top rating.
Artfully created and masterfully scripted
Lets start off with the model itself, the exterior is well detailed and easy to paint yourself for an average level of experience in Photoshop or Gimp. The interior is something really special. You can tell a lot of effort was taken in the recreation and function of the controls. I found myself looking at the various working switches and details provided with this interior for several hours.
Now for the scripting. Cat's experience in naval or aviation products have never let me down, or disappointed me in the "Feel" of the handling. I believe she challenged herself to take it to a new level with this build. From the start-up procedure, animations, flight characteristics, and more. I feel this is something she has poured a lot of passion into. I am proud to own a copy and have the easy part of just enjoying it.

Great Plane if you love realism
Bought with the Intention of using with an Air America I am a part of. Love the realistic startup and shutdown. Fly's smoothly in the air as well :)
