Underdark Skybox

Thank you for your interest in The Underdark Skybox, inside you will find a wide array of items to compliment this dark abode. This skybox comes with some nice effects and sounds ranging from the chirping call of the bats, to the haunting sounds adding to the ambience of this cavern like setting.

You could land on top of the box itself, where the Crystals have broken though from below, as well as an eerie face with its haunting glow in its mouth that lights the way down below, you could if you wish, use the top for when you want to work on your avs or such. Climb onto the face then with your life in your hands and drop yourself into the glowing mouth. If you’re lucky, you will land on the platform or the old rickety bridge only to look down upon the mystical garden below. A luminous shroom is there for you to sit on as you take in the sights and sounds, the bats chirping and flying about overhead. The first thing that might catch your eye though, is the big shining crystal that’s' buried in the ceiling lighting this cavernous space, its' colors changing vividly and hypnotically. These kinds of crystals gave some of the drow cities the little light they needed and was used as a timepiece for them. Looking a little further past you will see the Drow house Lac'nala, with its insignia on the door and dark elven statues guarding the door with orbs that change color too.

Walking across the bridge you find some stone steps that are part of the cave walls, you walk down passing fire posts, their flames unnatural in color and listening to the dripping echo, you see small droplets reaching a small rock pool below, once at the bottom you inspect the rock pool a little more, touching it becomes a ghastly face, bobbing and writhing in the water, its tortured screams silent making it even more foreboding.

Leaving it alone you look around then into the water, you see some glow fish swimming and darting around a long dead cave troll, its body petrified in the water a stone monument to times before the drow entered this lower land. Again you see the same face, though this one is carved into the wall by its inhabitants, spewing out a waterfall of filtered rock water into the pool beneath.

Finding yourself in need of rest and warmth you retrace your steps back, past the mushrooms and crystals that inhabit this cave you come to a large cluster of mushrooms, blanketed with the silver stitching of many spider webs, recoiling you see two large spiders above you resting on the mushrooms, placed there no doubt, by the spider queen herself, then suddenly they seem to sense you and scuttle away only to return to their spot once they think the danger has past.

Leaving the spiders you make your way to the campfire, again the flames burn with an unnatural Blue/purple hue, but no matter it is warm enough you think. Looking for a place to sit you end up placing yourself on one of the shrooms near the fire and watch the embers rise. Looking up you see another large mushroom with only a single web, you think this would be a perfect spot for you and your lover to sit under and you would be right, touch it and you get a dropdown menu for your sits.

The whole area is awash with intermittent but not intrusive sounds. It has an intimate feel but still spacious, with a surface area of around 50x32. For embers to rise in the campfire, touch coals, for the face to appear in the rock pool, just touch the water. For couple’s poses, touch the stem of the big purple mushroom for a drop down menu, the campfire also has sits around it and the reddish/purple plant also has a sit too. The spiders, bats and fish are temp rez and automatically rez and disappear when you rez the skybox, no need to touch them to turn them on. I hope you enjoy this product; it surely was a delight to create.
