Universal Chat Recorder

Designed to be used both for recording conferences and as a spy tool, the recorder is able to record up to 1000 chat entries. It is built both as a HUD device or as an object. In addition, the scripts can be inserted into any object of yours.

<> RECORDER HUD
- Wear as a HUD and register chats without being noticed.
- It has buttons that enable you to control it.

<> RECORDER TOOL
- You can drop it on a parcel, record all the chat within and retrieve it later to listen.
- It has no buttons but has dialog menu on touch.

<> RECORDER SCRIPTS
- You can put them into any object (that is modifiable) and transform an innocent thing like a wall or a vase into a spy tool.
- They work on dialog menu on touch.

-- COMMANDS --

- The HUD has buttons.
- The tool and the scripts create a dialog menu o touch.

1. PLAY. Click to listen all recordings.
- It will start from row 1, one entry on a second.
2. LISTEN. Click and start recording.
- New entries will be added after the last entry.
3. RESET. This resets ALL the database.
- Once activated, there is NO WAY to bring back the old recordings.
4. FORWARD. Moves forwards by 10 entries a second.
- Useful when you try to find something within hundreds of entries.
5. BACK. Moves back by 10 entries a second.
- Useful when you try to find something within hundreds of entries.
6. FULL BACK. Moves to entry 1.
7. STOP. Stops everything.
- Useful when you want to pause playing or you want to stop recording.
8. SECRECY. It has 3 levels:
- Level 0: Only you can hear the recording. In case of 'Recorder Tool', only you can activate the dialog. Still, the others can see the hovering text.
- Level 1: Anyone can hear the recording and anyone can activate the menu of the 'Recorder Tool', but nobody can change secrecy level.
- Level 2: Only you can hear the recording or activate the dialog menu in case of the 'Recorder Tool'. There is no hovering text.

MEMORY SIZE

Thanks to the 'Linkset' technology, the available memory is huge. You can store 1000 entries of most chats. In most cases, you don't need to worry about memory limits.

If you need more memory, you can copy-paste the HUD or the tool and use the new one to further record.

The hovering text shows you memory available and number of entries.

LIMITATIONS

1. Make sure the area where you are allows scripts to work.
2. Some very long chat entries cannot be reproduced due to LSL limitations.
3. What you spy or what you do... is your responsibility.

LICENSE AGREEMENTS FOR MERCHANTS

1. You CAN do whatever you want with the scripts and the devices for yourself.
2. You CAN share this with your friends.
3. You CAN sell inworld or from marketplace products containing the scripts or improved versions of the HUD or tool.
4. You CANNOT give the scripts, tool or HUD as freebies. By doing so, you harm the market more than you help a few people.
5. You CANNOT sell these things as they are. Be a merchant, not a thief.
