Staff by default will use a hold animation when still, and animate the arm for walking when moving.
HUD controls allow the staff to be "activated"
when activated multiple FX can be displayed on the staff, aswell as the ability to use poses for photography or roleplay use.
Animations may be added by simply dropping them into the staff contents.
A staff worthy of any mage, wizard or sorcerer
This staff lives up to the expectation both the picture and text suggest. The workmanship is excellent. Movement is smooth and effects that run while holding or walking with the staff are calm enough to suggest power but not draw too great attention. I found the HUD very simple and straight forward to use. The animations are some of the best I’ve seen in my 14 years in SL. The staff would be worth it for those alone. Add to these the effects and there is no doubt that you are facing a mage with power to challenge and match an opponent. The effects can be used singly or in combination with any of the others. This multiplies the implied magic or casting that is being used. If you’re picky about effects and their meaning you can easily make a listing of what effect or combination of effects goes with each of your castings.

I have been looking for something like this for ages...nice looking, effects that are impressive but not over done. Looks good with my fire mage outfit.
Suggestion though. I am a bit taller than most, so the hold point is just below the metal part for it to touch the ground. I tried enlarging it, but the moving sphere is coded with a static position rather than relative, so when you power it on or off, the animations break. Might see if future products can be resized a bit or have a couple sizes in the pack. Still, wonderful work!
