Drives great for me
I’ve had this car for six days now, and it’s already earned its place as one of my favorite drives in SL. The VOLTA EV‑C has that rare mix of intention and realism — the weight, the handling, the gear shifting — everything feels thoughtfully engineered instead of just scripted. It doesn’t hand you the experience; it invites you into it.
Since this model is fully electric, you don’t have to ‘turn it on’ like a gas vehicle — you simply shift gears to drive. It will tell you exactly which gear you’re in through nearby chat, which makes the whole system feel intuitive once you get used to it.
There is a learning curve, and you definitely have to be patient with yourself while you get the rhythm down. The notecard helps, but the real understanding comes from being behind the wheel and letting the mechanics teach you — though I do recommend keeping that notecard open to refer back to as you go. I personally use the HUD and a few of the gestures it gives you; they make the whole process feel smoother. Do what works for you. Once it clicks, the drive becomes smooth, controlled, and genuinely satisfying.
I also love that I was able to get the exact paint color I wanted — it made the whole experience feel even more personal and premium. And honestly, I can’t wait to see what happens when my battery finally depletes lol. It’s been a joy to learn, and an even better joy to drive.
It doesn't drive at all.... be aware!!!
I read the reviews and decided to purchase the car. It is a very, very nice car, but it doesn't drive. I read the manual letter by letter. I sent a message to the creator and a notecard, no reply to either. I logged in from three different viewers, went to several regions, cleared the cache, even dropped several of my other driveable cars, and they worked. But this vehicle doesn't drive. The HUD says connecting, but it doesn't work... it was a total waste of money for me to have a vehicle that just looks good but nothing else, not worth the money for a non-driveable vehicle. Just be warned that if you purchase this, it may or may not work, and you will not get any immediate assistance if you get a response at all. I am still waiting, but the SL marketplace is a gamble with the creators responding... crossing fingers... Good luck... buyer beware!!!!!!
The car drives good
I live in a 4 region community sim with roads. and i use this car to drive around nice and slow. i was able to adjust the speeds and understood enough on how to use the HUD. everyone. READ the notecard manual. it explains everything.
No updates since 2017.
Don't buy the car. It is severley out of date and not worth it. Doesnt come with a HUD or anything. Scripts and vehicle motion are very very old

I love this car, it's great its very realistic down to the animations and the sounds. Would def recommend.

This is the best car I have driven in a long time. The handle are so good and responsive I would recommend this car to anyone
