Perfect for having natural hair
This applies to every "Vanity Hair" I've bought so far, so you might see this review repeated a few times:
Plusses:
I've been looking for years for someone doing good quality natural hair and coming up empty. It looks like Vanity Hair has been around for a while and I just somehow managed to miss them. But not anymore. Bought a huge stack of stuff from them and am finally able to replace all my straightened hair with natural looks.
- The hair looks amazing
- It comes in with a very low 'Complexity' score.
- The textures are great.
- The hairbase applier options for my mesh head look very good. Not all of them are the same across all hair sets, and it took me a while to find one that didn't look like it was for 'straightened hair'; that's a pluf because there are a LOT of them, many options.
Minuses:
- you can export the RGB value of the tinting you apply, but you can't input an RGB value. So copying the same tinting across many different hairs gets complicated - most of the time the same tint HUD will work for any Vanity Hair, but a few older ones seem to "listen to a different channel" or something.
- The delete scripts often leave behind one small script somewhere, that isn't 'memory managed' so it shows up as '64kbs' on script checking.
- This isn't MOD. I don't understand why anything ever no-Mod, it doesn't offer any security protection. But I knew that before buying so it's not something to ding them for in a review. At least the HUD has tinting so you can get the exact color you want, but if it was mod I could get rid of the script and the little 'box' inside my head that is just one more texture in my texture-cache.
