The Velocity X JET, Based on the Williams X Jet "The Wasp" or its given nickname, "The Flying Pulpit". Developed in the 1980's for the U.S. Army. Since it was deemed inferior to helicopters, and small unmanned aircraft and further development ceased. However this prototype did actually fly with speeds reaching 60 mph, and staying aloft up to 45 minutes. Our version on the other hand can stay aloft more like 10 minutes before requiring more Fuel. But it is quick, and we had a lot of fun testing and flying this, and we hope you do to.
Features:
Fuel System
Moving Rudders
Working Fuel Gauge, and Compass

Dust and spray effect
Tons of fun
"Fly, go nuts"
Velocity Aeronautics produced fine aircraft in Second Life from 2008 to 2016. The legacy aircraft have been listed in the Marketplace to preserve some of these classic builds. The later builds can be demo'd in world. We hope you enjoy!
