This furniture is massive, as was much of the furniture owned by the wealthy in medieval times. Less wealthy people owned rather portable furniture and the poor owned very rustic pieces (if any at all!). Animations can be adjusted through the menu.
Why no mod? Because modifiable items can be copybotted more easily.
