Finely crafted russian Empire Clock, made of malachite and gilt bronze decorations.
Malachite has been very popular in the 18th and 19th centuries for decorative objects, detailing in furniture and, in some higher-end pieces, as a primary building or surfacing material.
The clock is scripted and fully working: it ticks, and it will announce every hour with a corresponding number of tings. Sounds are historically correct, and the volume is fixed so they can actually be heard in the whole room.
