'A settle is a wooden bench, usually with arms and a high back, long enough to accommodate three or four sitters.'

Although the original design dates back to 10th century, this is a more modern interpretation of a settle, although still fairly vintage :) A wooden bench, with movable drawers and wicker storage baskets underneath, it seats a single person or a m/f couple with ease. Contains 12 single animations (6 in each seat position) and 9 cozy couples animations to suit friends or lovers.

Single animations are unsynched, meaning either sitter can change their own sit without affecting the other, the couples sits are smoothly synchronised. Seat positions are easily adjusted by the person sitting, and the Settle will remember the individual adjustments of up to 400 individual avatars. Girls sit on the scatter cushions, guys on the bench itself.. although the menu provides for swapping if needed.

In its prime, this Vintage Settle was painted and varnished to a high gloss, however time and use have taken their toll and worn the finish to a gentle patina. The soft leather seat , although worn, is decorated with bright and cheerful scatter cushions. A small lamp (touch to turn on or off) throws just enough light to read your book or newspaper.

This is furniture that has been much loved.
