Copy- and customizable Visitor Control. More than just a visitor counter ! The function contains a log of the Avatar names, who stayed near the control and it can be hidden ! On touch you get an IM with all stored visitor names, which are only counted once in one time period.
For your business you can check the traffic or the visitor movements more in detail and landowners or residents can check, who is hanging around at their place, while they are not online.
The usage is restricted to the owner, but with the permissions notecard you can allow others, like group members or a partner to check the list of visitors too.
The customizing has to be done via a notecard ( how is described in detail ). This seems to be a bit more complicated than a menu on first sight. But menu settings do not get stored and you would be bothered with it every time the VisitorControl is used. With the notecard you do it once ( or you just stay with the basic setting ), take the changed ( and better renamed ) version back in your inventory and you can now rez any copy with your favorite settings as long as you like. You do not need to read all information first, as it is much for the huge possibilities of customizing. We advice only to search for the special setting you want to change and follow the instructions at that point.

- show 1 hovering text with the counter of the last visitors or 2 adding a totals text line or NO text
- set a sphere range from 1 to max. 96 meters
- how many names should be stored for one time period
- for how many days should the names be kept in the log memory
- set start date and total counter to a basic a value
You can use the script on any other object or as the control is set "modify", set the texture to invisible ( right click on prim and edit ) if you want to use the control hidden.

The Modify permission does NOT include the script, but the product itself, so that you could change the size and textures.
