The Visitor Counter from Black Rock design does that for you: buy it once, and place as many copies as you need into the environment. You will get daily reports on the number of people they detected, one report for each Counter. PLUS, you can set the report to include the NAMES of all the people it detected, in alphabetical order!
Features:
* The Visitor Counter is smart! It keeps track of the number of UNIQUE visitors. This means that the same avatar will not be counted twice in the same day.
* Sends DAILY REPORTS to any email account you want.
* Configure a secret chat channel, so that both you and your employees can handle it.
* Set the sensor range from 5 to 96 meters. (Place many counters with short range to get fine-grained area info.)
* Set the sensor sweep interval from 10 to 300 seconds. A slow sweep creates less lag, and is less likely to catch people who only walk through without stopping (so that you may want to ignore them in your count).
* The Visitor Counter is modifiable, so you can make it more or less visible and easy to hide.
* Bonus feature: Say "names" to the Counter, and it will list the names of all detected avatars during the last day.

I'm surprised there's not more reviews, but I know how it goes. Anyway, I want to rate this 4.5 stars. It's very good, especially for the price and since it lets you rez more than one. It's easy and straightforward to configure and does a good job telling you who has been to your shop. The .5 stars I don't want to give it is because sometimes when I ask the counter who it detected, it doesn't do anything, it just sits there, or is laggy. Then again, maybe this is something to do with my sim or something or other. I'd also like timestamps of when people were detected and the ability to configure to your timezone, but I knew going into these these weren't part of the product so they're not at all necessary. Maybe when blackrock updates, hmm? :3
Bottom line, it's worth the money.
