Considered by many to be one of the founding fathers of American Modernism, George Nelson produced some of the twentieth century's most highly regarded pieces of industrial furniture. In addition to being a truly multi-talented designer, Nelson was also successful as a graphic artist. His Zoo Timers made in 1965 - strongly colorful personalities from the animal kingdom - contrast sharply with his sculptural Wall clocks from the 1950s, thanks to their graphic touch.
