Volcanic Eruption

Volcanic Eruption is a realistic eruption including smoke, ejecta, flames and animated pyroclastic flow!

To use it, simply position the emitter object in the mouth of your volcano. The eruption occurs automatically after a specified delay period. You can keep the default delay (15 minutes) or you can specify your own by using a chat command to set the number of seconds of delay. The delay period must be between 60 seconds (one minute) and 86,400 seconds(one day).

The volcanic eruption proceeds in several phases:

1. Dormant, nothing happens for the duration you specify
2. Smoke, where a column of smoke rises vertically
3. Explosion! A large amount of ejecta blows out
4. Fire, a tall column of fire rises
5. Pyroclastic flow, a deadly downward flow of high temperature dark gases and dust, killing everything in its path

After the pyroclastic flow, the eruption ceases and resumes the dormant phase.
